From Classrooms to Changemakers: Community of Wisdom’s Pune Impact in 2025

Pune, October 2025—In a city celebrated for its educational ethos and vibrant youth, Community of Wisdom (CoW) is emerging as a force transforming government school students into confident leaders, creative innovators, and responsible citizens. This youth-led initiative, now in its third year, continues to deliver tangible results—elevating more than 100 students through hands-on skill-building, mentorship, and real-world projects in 2025.

Scaling Up, Reaching Further

What began as a small pilot in 2023 has blossomed into partnerships with five city schools, running a two-month immersive programme followed by sustained mentorship. Students master 21st-century skills—communication, digital literacy, teamwork, and creative problem-solving—preparing not just for jobs, but for lifelong leadership.COMMUNITY-OF-WISDOM-2025-

Impactful Outcomes & Real Stories

Internal assessments in 2025 show that 85% of CoW participants developed key skills like collaboration, leadership, and confidence. Children once hesitant now lead discussions, organize arts activities, and run workshops that create lasting community improvement.

Meet the changemakers:

  • Maya: Overcame her fear of public speaking to lead an art group, inspiring peers to share and express.
  • Ahaan: Now runs an anger-management workshop, empowering friends to cope positively and teaching calming games.
  • Projector Team: Designed and built a projector from recycled materials to address teaching material shortages—a small idea with a big classroom impact!

Driven by a Dedicated Team

A core team and mentors power coW’s effectiveness:

  • Astha Chaubey (Founder, Project Lead, FLAME University) guides vision and innovation.
  • Siddhant Shinde (Head of Strategic Planning and Programme Execution, Symbiosis) steers programme design and on-ground execution.
  • Shivani Devi (Head of Design, FLAME University) and Muskaan Choubey (Head of Social Media, Arham College) drive creative outreach and engagement.
  • Rudra, Lead of the Mentor Programme, oversees 20 college mentors and 8 senior mentors, providing support and inspiration to every child and alumni.

Ripple Effect, National Recognition, and the Road Ahead

Boasting a 75% alumni engagement rate among 167 alumni, CoW’s impact multiplies year-round. Student leaders have earned honors as India’s Top 100 Young Revolutionaries, secured admissions to United World College, and attracted interest for expansion from education leaders. Every child becomes a multiplier of change—educating peers, driving projects, and inventing solutions that benefit entire communities
